DESCRIPTION:
OK folks... this jacket is super rare. I have no idea how many were originally
manufactured, but I can tell you have I have been watching Ernie Ball auctions on
eBay religiously every day for about 15 years and this is the only one I ever saw.
I snatched it up then -- on 2/29/2000 (just found the original emails from when
I bought it). That's almost 13 years ago and I've never seen one since!
This jacket is in NEAR MINT condition. Size LARGE. When I received it back in 2000, I sent
it to be professionally cleaned by my dry cleaner, and it has hung in my closet
in a garment bag since then. Problem is, I am a little too fat to wear it.
:-( I can put it on and it fits, but I look kind of silly because it's too tight.
The only thing that keeps this jacket from being MINT is that the tag is cut
(see the last photo). The leather is amazing, the cloth part is amazing, the
embriodered logos are mint, the quilted lining is great. Man, I hate to sell
this...
However, my wife recently went on a tirade about stuff we don't wear that's taking up
closet space. Most of my stuff went to the goodwill bin but this one is too
mint, too cool, and some Ernie Ball / Music Man fan will dig it!
Now, this bad boy ain't cheap... I paid a pretty penny for it 13 years ago and,
and then spent like $40 to get it professionally cleaned, and like I said it is
super rare and I have never seen one on eBay since! I believe my "Buy It Now" price
is super fair, but I'll also put a 'Best Offer' option -- but please don't lowball
me and waste my time... I'm not going to give this away!
